I discovered a knack for drawing when my kindergarten teacher praised me lavishly for drawing crayon people who actually looked like people, and the bird scribbles on the back of the paper were even more recognizable. Watercolor, pastels, charcoal, pen and ink were fun too. But now I love to sketch on my Ipad. I use it to digitally illustrate my stories, make personalized cards for family and friends, and sketch from the photographs I take. I’ve written and illustrated three children’s books – “A Tiny Fish Tale,” “My Trip to Washington DC – from LA to DC – all by myself!” and “The Four Promises” available in print and kindle formats on Amazon. I was also a winner in The New Yorker 2012 Eustace Tilley contest. I write a daily blog about the differences between living on Capitol Hill and in Milwaukee, and incorporate my art, photographs, and web albums. Please check out my website and see if something might interest you! Thanks for stopping by!
